1Introduction & Scope of Privacy Policy

Goal 365 ("we", "platform") takes our responsibility to protect the privacy of every member and user in Malaysia seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to all services provided through goal365.my, the Goal 365 mobile app, and all our official communication channels.

7Data Retention Period

Goal 365 retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of collection or to meet applicable legal requirements:

  • Active Account Data: Retained for the duration your Goal 365 account is active, and for 7 years after account closure for legal compliance and audit purposes.
  • Financial Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Malaysia's financial and tax legislation.
  • KYC Documents: Retained for 7 years after the business relationship ends, in accordance with Malaysia's Anti-Money Laundering Act.
  • Technical Log Data: Retained for 12 months for security purposes and technical troubleshooting.
  • Support Communication Records: Retained for 3 years to allow Goal 365 to address any subsequent enquiries or complaints.

Upon expiry of the retention period, your personal data will be securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you.

8Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Malaysia's PDPA, you have the following rights regarding the personal data held by Goal 365:

Please note that certain data deletion requests may not be fully fulfilled where Goal 365 has a legal obligation to retain that data, such as financial transaction records required under Malaysian law.

If we determine that we have collected data from an individual under the age of 18, we will take immediate action to delete that data and close the relevant account.

Parental Advisory: If you discover that your child has registered for or is using the Goal 365 platform, please contact us immediately at privacy@goal365.my and we will address the matter promptly.

11Cross-Border Data Transfers

In the course of its operations, Goal 365 may need to transfer your personal data to servers or processing facilities located outside Malaysia. Any such transfer will be carried out with the following safeguards in place:

  • Transfers are only made to countries or territories that provide data protection equivalent to or greater than that of Malaysia
  • Legally binding data transfer agreements are in place with all recipients of data outside Malaysia.
  • Additional security measures are in place during cross-border data transfers
  • Goal 365 takes full responsibility for ensuring your data remains protected even when it is transferred outside Malaysia.

12Privacy Policy Amendments

Goal 365 reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our business practices. You will be notified of any material amendments through:

  • Notification email sent to the address registered to your Goal 365 account
  • A notice displayed on the Goal 365 platform homepage at least 14 days before the amendments take effect
  • Pop-up notification upon logging in to your Goal 365 account

Continued use of the Goal 365 platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. The "Updated" date at the top of this document will always reflect the latest version in force.
